Using the Barbieri Spectrophotometer with Onyx Graphics RIP Software
When using the Onyx Graphics Software Media Manager to create or modify Media Profiles with Barbieri Spectrophotometers, Onyx will automatically open a limited version of Barbieri Gateway software to read the patch set. In some cases, errors or problems can occur resulting in the loss of measurements or inaccurate measurements.
As an alternative, Barbieri Gateway software can be used directly and the use of the internal Onyx process can be bypassed. This method provides more error recovery and some advanced measurement options.
IMPORTANT: When using Barbieri Spectrophotometers with Onyx graphics software, always print the the target patch set in portrait mode. Use of landscape mode can introduce print errors.
